Radiofrequency Therapy for Erectile Dysfunction: Vertica® and VerticaPro

Faysal A. Yafi - United States

In this talk, Faysal A. Yafi discusses radiofrequency-based therapy and its potential role in the management of erectile dysfunction.

The presentation introduces Vertica® and VerticaPro and explains how controlled radiofrequency energy is delivered to penile tissue. Proposed biological effects of thermal stimulation, including vascular signalling, oxygenation and collagen remodelling, are discussed alongside early clinical research.

Dr Yafi also reviews the design of a multi-centre randomised controlled study in the United States evaluating radiofrequency therapy for erectile dysfunction, including study structure, endpoints and patient follow-up.

The session concludes with discussion and questions on emerging treatment approaches for erectile dysfunction.
